Aug 20th - Conversation

Eliane is talking to John who she has just met in a café. They are having a conversation when Eliane asks John   what he does for a living . . .
Eliane: - What do you do for a living?
John: - I am sorry . Can you run that by me again?
Eliane: - What is your occupation?
John: - I'm a hairdresser; I work in beauty parlor on Oxford street.
Eliane: - A hairdresser?? You must cut a lot of hairs and get very satisfied .
John: - yes I do lots of work. Every day I cut hairs and it takes a long time to get a good result.
Eliane: - That is really interesting. How many hairs do you think you cut in a day?
John: - On average I probably please about seven customers every day I do get tired. What about you Eliane? What  sort of job do you have ?
Eliane: - I don’t have a job at the moment.
John: - why?
Eliane: - I’m at a Private Course learning English.
John: - Thanks for the chat I have to get back to work now.
